MICHAEL SCHNEIDER, Chief Justice.

Appellant, Susan Green, appeals a no-evidence summary judgment granted in favor of the appellees, Industrial Specialty Contractors, Inc. (Industrial) and Robert Charles. We affirm in part and reverse in part.

Factual Background

This case arises from Green’s employment at Industrial as a payroll clerk. Green was hired based on the recommendation of her friend Delores Blevins, the office manager at Industrial’s Baytown project.
