We are called upon to rule in this case on a variety of difficult questions involving the interrelationship of the laws of contract and trust. At stake is the interest of the estate of James R. Hoffa in the pension fund established by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehouse-men and Helpers of America (Teamsters) for the benefit of certain officers and employees of the union.
