McGHEE, Justice.

We will refer to the parties as they appeared in the trial court.

On February 25, 1947, the parties entered into a written contract whereby the plaintiffs agreed to purchase a tract of land from the defendant for $2500.00, of which $800.00 was immediately paid and the plaintiffs went into possession of the property. The balance was to be paid in monthly installments of $50.00, plus accrued interest.
