OPINION OF THE COURT. The complainants represent in their bill, that on or about the 4th of December, 1828, William Woodworth, now deceased, was the inventor •of a certain improvement, or machine, for planing, grooving, and tongueing boards, and other materials, and for which, having ■complied with every legal requisite, he obtained a patent, dated the 27th of December, 3828, to him, his heirs, executors, administrators, or assigns, for the term of fourteen .years.
