BERNSTEIN, Vice Chief Justice.

Appellant, hereinafter called defendant, appeals from a conviction of first degree murder and sentence of life imprisonment entered by the Superior Court of Maricopa County.

The uncontroverted facts are that defendant and the decedent, a girl less than 20 years of age, had been going together •approximately 2 years prior to the homicide in question.
