E. A. Tweed, suing by his father and next friend, M.' D. Tweed, brought this suit against the appellant for damages for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained by him on or about the 16th day of September, 1907, while he was engaged for the appellant in doing certain work upon a telegraph pole in the line of his duty. It is alleged that the plaintiff, E. A. Tweed, is an inhabitant and citizen of the state of Kentucky, and that the defendant, the Western Union Telegraph Company, is a corporation with an office and local agent in Dallas county, Tex.; that prior to and since the…
