On March 4, 2013, Plaintiff, Joe Allen, brought this action against Defendants, City of Jackson (“the City”), West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation, Inc. d/b/a Medical Center Laboratory d/b/a JaeksonMadison County General Hospital (“WTHF”), and Jackson, Tennessee Mayor Jerry Gist, for damages arising when Plaintiff, a police officer employed by the City, was terminated for failing a random drug test.
