This is an appeal from a final order of the Industrial Commission denying a claim for compensation instituted by *934Effie N. Butler, the widow of Roland P. Butler, who died as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. A clear statement of the case appears from the following findings of fact taken from the opinion of Commissioner Martin, before whom the hearing was conducted:

“On Thursday, November 13, 1947, at approximately 6:30 P. M. Roland P. Butler was severely injured in an automobile accident. He died about an hour later. The employer’s report of the accident says that…
