The Commonwealth of Massachusetts asks leave to file a bill of complaint against the State of Missouri and certain citizens of that State. On return to the order to show cause why leave should not be granted, the respondents, while contesting the claims of Massachusetts, stated that they had no cause to show. The Court set the motion for hearing upon the questior whether the Court has jurisdiction to entertain the suit. • The com plainant and the individual respondents contend that the Court has jurisdiction and the State of Missouri now-presents the contrary view.
