Following a jury trial, defendant Nicholas Meeks was convicted of armed robbery and aggravated unlawful restraint and sentenced to concurrent, respective prison terms of 12 years and 3 years. On appeal, defendant contends that the prosecutor misstated the law and diminished the State’s burden of proof during closing argument. Additionally, defendant contends that the trial court erred in allowing evidence that defendant’s photograph was contained in a police computer database.
