BUFFINGTON, Circuit Judge.

[1] In this case a bill in equity, under the provisions of R. S. U. S. 4915 (Comp. St. 1913, § 9460) was filed by John M. Hansen against Edwin E. Slick. The bill alleged that Hansen was the first inventor of a method of reworking worn forged car wheels, and applied for a patent therefor on June 13, 1908; that he was thrown into interference on certain claims with Slick, the outcome of which was that the Court of Appeals of the District of Columbia decreed said Slick was the first inventor, whereupon a patent was refused Hansen, and patent No. 1,055,672, was granted…
