Caribbean Airlines, Ltd. (CAL) is an international airline based in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago (Trinidad and Tobago), and is Trinidad and Tobago’s national carrier. It is majority-owned by the Minister of Finance of Trinidad and Tobago (Minister). In this appeal, we consider whether CAL qualifies for jury immunity under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, 28 U.S.C. § 1330, in a negligence action by Rovin Singh.
