OPINION

KENNEDY, Circuit Judge.

Petitioner, Gerald Warren, appeals the District Court’s order denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2254 following state court convictions for assault with intent to commit murder, breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, and assault with intent to rob while unarmed. We are asked to determine in this appeal whether sufficient evidence was presented in the state court proceedings to support petitioner’s convictions on two counts of assault with intent to commit murder.
