OPINION OF THE COURT

HAGAN, Judge:*

A military judge sitting as a general court-martial convicted the appellant, in accordance with his pleas, of two specifications of attempted robbery and an absence without leave, in violation of Articles 80 and 86, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 880 and 886 (1984). The approved sentence provides for a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for three years, and forfeiture of $300.00 pay per month for 36 months.
