-This suit was instituted in a justice of the peace court in the City of St. Louis by respondents, as plaintiffs, against appellant, as defendant, to recover the amount of a commission alleged to be due plaintiffs under a contract for the sale of real estate. A judgment for plaintiffs was rendered and defendant appealed to the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis where a trial before the court and a jury resulted in a verdict and judgment in favor of plaintiffs in the sum of $225. Defendant duly appealed to this court.
