SHAW, Judge.

Cleon Nicholas Fields appeals from the trial court’s order revoking his probation.

On May 26, 2000, Fields was convicted of altering a firearm, a violation of § 13A-11-64, Ala.Code 1975. He was sentenced *186to five years’ imprisonment; the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. On March 6, 2001, Fields’s probation officer, Mary Andriano-poulos, filed a delinquency report alleging that Fields had violated the terms and conditions of his probation by (1) having contact with illegal drugs; (2) being in possession of or consuming alcoholic beverages; and…
