This writ of error brings under review judgments pronounced against plaintiffs in error by the Circuit Court of Nansemond county. It appears from the record that Wel-born and Smith sustained serious injuries as a result of a collision between an automobile, of which they were occupants, and a truck, owned by Wyatt and Hathaway and driven by Luther Roberson, their servant and employee. Separate actions were brought by Welborn and Smith against Wyatt, Hathaway and Roberson, to recover damages for the injuries inflicted upon them as a result of the negligent act of the defendants, and judgments…
