DUNAGAN, Chief Justice.

This suit was instituted in the District Court of Panola County, Texas, by C. B. Steptoe, appellee, against The Reliable Life Insurance Company, appellant, seeking to recover for the loss of the sight of an eye under two insurance policies issued by appellant, together with attorney’s fees and statutory penalties. The case was submitted to the trial court on an agreed “Stipulation of Facts,” and the trial court rendered judgment against the appellant in the sum of $1,700.00 for the loss of sight of appel-lee’s left eye, plus statutory interest, penalties and attorney’s…
