DUNAGAN, Chief Justice.

This is a suit on a credit life insurance policy. Appellant Robert B. Pope, individually and as independent executor of the estate of Annell Bulloch Pope, deceased, instituted this suit against American National Life Insurance Company and the Southside State Bank in Tyler, Texas, to recover on the credit life insurance policy taken out on Annell Bulloch Pope, which was in the principal sum of $4,986.00.
