This action for damages for the death of Mary Stephens alleged to have resulted from injuries sustained in a fall upon a sidewalk in the City of Covington, was filed against the city of Covington, Theodore Deickman, the owner of the abutting property, and George and Bernard Strotman, the lessees thereof. The petition alleged, in substance, that Deickman owned the lot and building at the southwest corner of 15th and Holman streets; that said building was 80 feet long, and more .than 30 feet wide, with a four inch metal down-spout *339from the roof…
