1Opinion of the Court

LOURIE, Circuit Judge.

Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (“MetLife”) appeals from the district court’s entry of summary judgment in favor of Bonnie Gannon on her claim that MetLife violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. §§ 1001-1461 (2000), by terminating her long-term disability benefits. Gannon v. Metro. Life Ins. Co., Civ. Action No. 01-40192-NMG (D. Mass. 2004). Because we conclude that Met-Life’s benefits decision was not arbitrary or capricious, we reverse.
