This was a suit upon a county treasurer’s bond against the principal and his sureties, the breach assigned being a failure of the officer to pay to Ms successor in office moneys of the county in his hands as such treasurer. There was judgment against the principal for twenty thousand eight hundred and twenty-six dollars and forty-two cents, but in favor of Ms sureties for costs.
