Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the Municipal Court of the city of New York, borough of Brooklyn, first district, rendered September 22, 1917, in favor of the plaintiff for $246.75 damages and costs, after a trial by the court without a jury.

This action was brought to recover a balance alleged to be due on a contract for “ professional services.” Plaintiff testified that she had been engaged for three years in the business of the removal of superfluous hair from women’s faces by the use of an electric needle, and that her office was at 16 Court street, Brooklyn.
