Troy Fox appeals from the judgment and sentence, following a jury trial, for the offense of homicide by vehicle, in violation of Iowa Code section 707.6A (2009). Fox contends the district court erred in finding there was sufficient evidence to support his conviction. Specifically, Fox claims the victim’s conscious decision to remove life-sustaining medical assistance constituted an intervening and superseding cause of death.
