This appeal arises from the July 23, 2009, order of the circuit court of Cook County, which granted a motion for a good-faith finding that a settlement agreement entered into between one of the plaintiffs, Elliott Cellini (Cellini), and one of the defendants, Village of Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove), was “made and entered into in good faith within the meaning of the [Joint Tortfeasor] Contribution Act.” 2 740 ILCS 100/1 et seq.
