This was an action for damages against a corporation for refusing to issue to the plaintiff a certificate for *488a two-thirds part of one share of the capital stock of the company, alleged to have been acquired'by the plaintiff by purchase from the administrator of a deceased shareholder, and for refusing to recognize the plaintiff as a stockholder in the company and to pay him dividends, and for converting the said stock to the defendant’s own use. There was an answer and a reply, and a trial by jury, which resulted in a verdict and judgment for the defendant, from which the plaintiff appeals.
