I dissent from the majority opinion. The question for decision in this case is whether the evidence war ranted the jury’s returning a verdict for the plaintiff. The judge who presided at this trial thought so little of plaintiff’s case that in his opinion he said: “The trial judge was impressed by the plaintiff’s obvious quibbling, evasions, and his manifest want of sincerity and veracity, and was utterly unable to credit his professed freedom from violent and odious anti-Semitic sentiments and predilections.
