This is an action for damages brought by plaintiff, a pedestrian, against defendant the driver of an automobile. It is an intersection case. .

Plaintiff plead six specifications of negligence. Defendant denied generally, and plead negligence and contributory negligence. At the close of plaintiff’s case and again at the close of all the evidence defendant moved for an instructed verdict. ^These motions were overruled.
