JOHN R. GIBSON, Circuit Judge.

Marshall Ellis, sentenced to life imprisonment for murder and other offenses, appeals the district court’s denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus, 28 U.S.C. § 2254 (2000). We affirm.

Most of the relevant facts are undisputed. Ellis drove a female companion to a methamphetamine deal in the parking lot of a restaurant in Woodward, Oklahoma, on May 8, 1985.
