1Opinion of the Court

This is an original application for a habeas corpus granted by the presiding judge of this court.

The facts in the case show that relator was engaged in the sale of spirituous, vinous and malt liquors by retail, in all things having complied with the law as it existed prior to the passage of what is known as the Baskin-McGregor law passed by an Act of the Thirtieth Legislature, approved April 18, 1907, to be found in said acts on page 258, et seq. of said laws.
