On March 19, 1918, Julian Kennedy, a construction engineer of Pittsburgh, entered into a written agreement * with his two sons, Joseph W. Kennedy and Julian Kennedy, Jr., in connection with the business in which the three were engaged. This agreement continued in force for a period of more than fourteen years from its date, until terminated by the father’s death on May 28, 1932. Thereupon the sons filed a claim against his estate in the amount of $185,874.83, of which $129,503.83 represented a reimbursement for losses incurred by the business, which losses had…
