MILLER, Judge.
The defendant-appellant, Robert Flynn, also known as Keith Brizzie (Flynn herein), was convicted of robbery while armed with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to serve six years in prison. On appeal, Flynn raises a number of errors; however, we address but one: whether the trial court abused its discretion in denying Flynn's motion to reopen his defense. Late in the afternoon of the first day of this jury trial, Thursday, February 28, 1985, the state rested its case.
