GRANTING DEFENDANTS’ MOTION TO DISMISS

URBINA, District Judge.

I. INTRODUCTION

This matter comes before the court upon defendants’ motion to dismiss and plaintiffs’ opposition thereto. 1 Defendants Vicki Heilig and Mary Maxfield (hereinafter collectively referred to as “defendants”) request that the court dismiss the instant action because the issues and relief requested in it are encompassed by an active case currently pending in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia (hereinafter referred to as “the Superior Court”).
