John H. Kilbane appeals from an order of the district court, 567 F.Supp. 1475, granting summary judgment for Marine *959Midland Bank (the “Bank”) in this diversity action for breach of and default under a guaranty. We affirm.

On July 23, 1976, Robert Burke (“Mr. Burke”) signed a promissory note payable to the order of the Bank in the sum of $50,000. Payment of this obligation was guaranteed by Howard Greason, Mr. Burke’s father-in-law.
