Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the Supreme *586Court, Richmond County, rendered April 17, 1978, convicting him of robbery in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. Judgment affirmed. The defendant seeks reversal, inter alia, on the ground that he was denied the effective assistance of counsel. Because we are unable to conclude on this record that trial counsel failed to demonstrate reasonable competence in defense of his client, we affirm.
