The plaintiff appeals from the judgment awarding her *452only part of the damages she claims to have sustained by the building of a levee on her land by the defendants.

The defendant, Conrad 33. Fiselier, the owner of swamp land, found it essential, in order to float the timber cut on his land to the Atchafalaya river, to construct a lock in a bayou by means of which it was expected sufficient water would be accumulated to float the timber.
