This is an action challenging the determination of the Appeals Council of the Social Security Administration to reduce the plaintiff’s Supplemental Security Income (“SSI”) grant on the stated basis that plaintiff was receiving $30 monthly in income in kind, because she paid only $100 monthly rent, while the fair market value of her apartment was $130.
