In 1995, Gerold Wolff pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1), and one count of using and carrying a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c). Wolff was sentenced to 212 months in prison, consistent with his plea agreement stipulation that he was responsible for more than 100 and less than 1000 grams of methamphetamine. The plea agreement waived Wolffs right to appeal but not his right to file a motion for post-conviction relief under 28 U.S.C. § 2255.
