Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Albany County (Marks, J.), rendered November 25, 1991, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree (10 counts) and grand larceny in the fourth degree.
Defendant is a licensed podiatrist and an assistant professor of pathology at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. During 1985, he also operated two podiatric clinics in Manhattan.
