This suit was brought by W. A and Essie Watson against the Galveston, Harrisburg San Antonio Railway Company to recover damages which they alleged they suffered by reason of the death of their daughter, Wilma Watson, caused by the negligence of the servants and employees of the defendant.

They alleged their daughter was crossing the track of the defendant, and that the servants of the defendant in charge of one of its engines and trains negligently ran said engine and train at a reckless and dangerous rate of speed upon said crossing and against an automobile in which their daughter was…
