The St. Paul Fire Marine Insurance Company has appealed from a judgment in favor of J. D. Garnier, based upon a fire insurance policy issued by the company in favor of plaintiff, covering a barn and some of its contents which were destroyed by fire. The policy was dated May 26, 1914, and by its terms insured the property from May 26, 1914, to May 26, 1915, $3,000 being the amount of insurance on the barn and $1,000 on farm machinery, tools wagons, etc., situated therein. The judgment recovered was for the full amount of insurance on the barn and for $600 the value of certain of its contents…
