Nora C. Vaughn, joined by her husband, exchanged with appellee M. B. Bryant a tract of land, her separate property and situated in Eastland county, for certain land belonging to the appellee named, located in Dawson county. As a part of the exchange M. B. Bryant executed to Nora C. Vaughn eight notes for the sum of $100 each, maturing successive years thereafter and secured by a vendor’s lien upon the East-land county land, and as per the prior agreement of M. B. Bryant these notes were assigned to Andrew, son of said appellee, who paid appellant Nora C. Vaughn the face value therefor. Within…
