Defendant was convicted of receiving stolen property in violation of U.C.A., 1953, §§ 76-6-408 and 76 — 6—412(l)(a)(ii). On appeal, he contends that the prosecution violated rules of discovery and that he is entitled to a new trial.

On the evening of July 27, 1983, William Emmett parked his pickup truck in front of a motel in Fillmore, Utah. At about 10:00 p.m., he discovered that the truck was missing, whereupon he contacted the police.
