In the present case, Kazeem Adeshina Ishola was convicted of two counts of assuming the “identity of another” in violation of Section 8-301(c) of the Criminal Law Article, Maryland Code (2002, 2007 Supp.), for using two different false identifications, those of “Christopher J. Pitera” and “James P.
