CADY, Chief Justice.

In this appeal, we consider whether an application for postconviction relief from a judgment and sentence imposed in a criminal case based on a plea of guilty was properly dismissed on summary adjudication. On our review, we affirm the deci sion of the district court in part, reverse in part, and remand for further proceedings.
