OPINION

O’HARA, Judge.

In this action, plaintiffs, National Fire Insurance Company of Hartford (“National”) and St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company (“St. Paul”), seek summary judgment against the defendant, Eastern Shore Laboratories, Inc.

The plaintiffs carried fire insurance on the contents of the defendant’s storage building at its Laurel, Delaware plant. The face amount of National’s coverage was $35,000; St. Paul’s was $30,000. The insurance agreement was entered through a binder and attached reporting form on July 22, 1969. The effective date of coverage, however, was July 28, 1969,…
