Plaintiff, a Washington, D.C., law firm, filed this lawsuit to recover unpaid attorney’s fees from several California defend ants. 1 Two of the defendants — Colleen Coffman (“Colleen”) and Coffman Specialties, Inc. (“Specialties”) — moved to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction. On September 30, 1998, the Court deferred consideration of that motion pending an evidentiary hearing.
