In this medical malpractice action a jury returned a verdict of $300,000 for the plaintiff Peder Pedersen, Jr.1 After denial of his motion to set aside the verdict, the defendant, Misbah Vahidy, appealed from the judgment on the verdict claiming that the trial court had erred in (1) instructing the jury that the plaintiff had proved the specification of negligence that the *512defendant had failed to obtain an informed consent to the surgery, and (2) failing to grant a mistrial or give curative instructions concerning remarks of the plaintiffs counsel during argument suggesting that the defendant…
