Anna Akin, prior to her marriage with the appellant in 1857, was a widow and the mother of five children, who were the plaintiffs below, and are the appellees in this court. One child, A. Akin, Jr., was the issue of her marriage with appellant. This child and appellant were defendants in the court below, and A. Akin, Jr., having died pending the suit, his wife and three minor children were made parties defendant in his stead. In 1874, Anna Akin died, and the estate acquired by her and appellant during their marriage continued after her death in the management and…
