KATHERINE POLK FAILLA, United States District Judge *46The instant matter concerns allegations of discrimination and constitutional violations that have been brought by a legally blind inmate to redress incidents that occurred while he was detained at the Rikers Island correctional facility in 2017. Defendants have responded with a motion to dismiss, arguing procedural and substantive infirmities in Plaintiff's pleadings that cannot be redressed by amendment.
